Cardinal Football Camp Grades 5-9 Campers will have a great experience working on their football skills and playing football games. Each session will have campers working on the fundamentals of offense and defense. Coaches will be teaching drills specific to the position the camper wants to play. At the end of each daily session, there will be touch football games. At the end of the week, all participants will receive a Cardinal Football Camp t-shirt and enjoy a watermelon feed. High School coaches and players will run the camp. Bring a water bottle. Recommended clothing: t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes. Football pads not needed for the camp. There will be a mandatory coaches’ meeting following the equipment check out for parents who are interested in coaching. Practice will be Tuesday thru Thursday, August 20-22 and Monday thru Thursday, August 26-29 at the Senior High Football fields at 6 pm. Players will be evaluated for the first two weeks. A schedule will be made available at a later date to show times and locations of games. Starting September 2, practices will be on Monday and Tuesday nights at 6:00 at the Willmar Senior High Football fields.
